e-SolarMark PET for coding PET packaging

It's a familiar problem: When coding PET packaging - especially in the beverage industry- critical material weaknesses may arise, thus running the risk of gas or liquid leaks. For this reason, Bluhm offers its well-known CO2 and fibre laser systems as well as two new CO2 lasers for marking PET bottles: The e-SolarMark PET and the SolarJet PET.

Accidental product perforation (e.g. PET bottles) is prevented thanks to the laser's special wavelength of 9,4 µ combined with its finely adjustable output setting. The result is clearly visible markings on PET materials.

These PET lasers are available in two versions: An air-cooled model for clean and dry environments, and a IP65 version for applications in raw or wet mopped production environments. These new laser systems offer PET-specific benefits as well as all the product properties of the Solaris laser coder series. Marking contents can be switched in a flash for example.

Its compact, modular design makes it easy to integrate into existing productions. The software has been developed to combine versatility with easy of use and high user convenience. What makes these Solaris laser systems stand out is a laser-guided marking technology combined with incredible levels of reliability and the high stability of a sealed CO2 laser tube.
