Clean coding of smooth surfaces

With the thermal inkjet coders Compactline UV in combination with UV-ink every smooth surface can be printed on the basis of Hewlett Packard cartridge technology.
The special feature: the ink dries in seconds even on smooth surfaces. The secret lies in a small device behind the print head. This device incorporates several UV LED’s which irradiate the freshly printed ink with ultraviolet light. This triggers a chemical reaction in the ink which makes it harden and dry. The light -sources are quicksilver free and don't emit hurtful radiationh, don't create ozone and don't give off heat.

Wth a resolution of up to 600 dpi coated papers, cartons, foils, platic cards etc. are printed. Depending on the requirement, product names and descriptions, production and shelf life data, barcodes, data matrix codes, graphics and much more can be applied in a type size of up to 12,5 mm, or 25 mm with two print heads connected.   

Since the Compactline coders are almost maintenance – free and very convenient to use and since they cannot evaporate any solvents, they are particularly suitable for applications in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors.
