In-house label production

Bluhm Systems produces label solutions for any application.

Efficient usage of labels represents a cost-effective measure to assist you in your logistical tasks in production, warehousing and dispatch. Today barcode labels are being used to control goods flows and optimise operating processes. With costly packaging increasingly being dispensed with, the label now has even greater importance as the a means of conveying information or advertising the product. The combination of conventional labels with RFID technology is becoming more and more important. More information on RFID labels.

Labels are generally classified into three categories:

Blank labels

Blank labels are used in all sectors for documentation, traceability and logistical purposes. Thermo-transfer and direct thermal printing methods are used.

Bluhm Systems offers a huge variety of label types. You can choose from numerous different kinds of label, such as UV-resistant, waterproof, recyclable, solvent-free labels, and many others. We also offer labels for applications involving a variety of surfaces, whether you wish to label onto plastic, wood, glass, rubber or metal surfaces.

We supply labels in three possible versions: as rolls, fanfolded or in A4 sheets.

Special labels include no-label look (Adelholzener), scented labels, indicator labels (Almo), RFID labels, rub-off (sandwich) labels, perforated parts with adhesive on both sides (Martin), laminated labels (Bausch+Lomb), water-solvent labels (Oettinger cask or carton labelling), security labels: (Seramis) void (police force), security perforation (Deutsche Bundesbank)

Just a few examples from our product range:

Water-, oil or grease-proof labels with extremely strong adhesive properties, e.g. for labelling of tyres or cutting discs.

Spun-woven labels are made up of continuous polyethylene fibres and are resistant to water and a large number of chemicals and solvents.

Security labels, leave behind a legible marking underneath when the metallised polyester foil is broken.

Attachable labels are sturdy, non-tearing and made of reinforced film for indoor and outdoor use. A paper coating also makes them ideal for re-printing.
